Information about cookies

On 25 July 2003, Sweden’s new Electronic Communications Act entered into force. Under this law, visitors to a web site must be informed that it uses cookies. The site must also give users the opportunity to block them.

A cookie is a small piece of information that a web site stores in the web browser. Cookies are normally used to improve the web site for the user.

Session cookies, which are temporary files, disappear when you leave the web site. There are also what are termed persistent cookies that remain on your computer for a longer period or until you delete them yourself. These enable the web site to remember you and the information you sought on earlier visits.

We use temporary cookies on this web site. These cookies are stored temporarily in your computer’s memory when you visit us. They tell us which language you have chosen or simplify your navigation, for example. Temporary cookies are not stored on your system and disappear when you close your browser.

If you do not accept the use of cookies, you can change the settings in your browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, etc.) so that it does not allow cookies.
