Department of Administration

Hans Ottosson The Administrative Department provides general administrative services for the authority.

Head of the department is Hans Ottosson.

The department is organised into six sections:

  • IT: The section is responsible for the development, operation and purchase of SMI’s IT-systems. The section also supports the departments through developing, implementing and administrating the SMI’s strategy, policy and standards for Information Technology.
  • Quality
  • Finance: The section is responsible for financial planning, accounting and financial follow-up.
  • Human Resources: The section provides operational support in areas that concern the supply of staff, training and development, the working environment, health and occupational safety and other aspects of human resources management.
  • Facilities and Services: The section provides telephone, reception, and cleaning etc. within the SMI and is responsible for material and supplies.
  • Technology: The section provides property management services within the SMI, such as operation and maintenance of technical laboratory equipment.
